Viewpoints

When the Intercontinental Packers building was slated for demolition in 2010, the murals were salvaged, and subsequently conserved and reconstructed. The process to preserve the Intercontinental Packers Reception Room Murals was painstaking and fascinating. Jillian Cyca shares her experience as a member of the restoration team.

Jillian is Registrar at Remai Modern and worked at the Mendel Art Gallery in Programs and Curatorial since 2009. She holds a B.F.A. from the University of Saskatchewan, with an art practice in printmaking.
