The December film program features debut films and important early works that defined the careers of four distinctive directors. Ranging from funny and strange to bizarre and fantastical, the series features highly stylized and singular views on the coming-of-age genre.

Tim Burton’s twentieth-century fairytale stars Johnny Depp as a gentle outcast who attempts to assimilate into a new community after living in isolation. One of Tim Burton’s more personal films, Edward Scissorhands is celebrated for its distinctive visual style and magical storytelling.
