THANK YOU FOR 10 YEARS oF LUGO
On January 11, Saskatoon's biggest art party and fundraiser returned to Remai Modern. Now in its 10th year, LUGO Love gave guests the opportunity to see the museum in new ways and experience one-of-a-kind performances and installations. This year's theme embraced the potential of love as a positive force for creative expression and social change. Thanks again for your support Remai Modern's annual art party and fundraiser!

She spent more than a decade collaborating with artists from around the globe and curating exhibitions, publications and interactive environments. Today, Kiko draws on her experience to offer ephemeral, immersive, vibrational experiences.
Steven Beckly - Love S.0.S.
Cultivating moments of closeness and intimacy, Steven Beckly approaches photography as both a personal and a social practice, an act that connects rather than distances, feels rather than explains. In Love S.O.S., Beckly’s images are assembled in a slideshow of almost 400 photographs. A multiplicity of encounters, they form a spectrum of interactions shaped by the artist’s desire for connection with his surrounding world.
Steven Beckly is a Chinese artist and photographer. He creates images that take on various forms, including photographs, books, sculptures and installations, to better understand the ever-changing nature of love, desire and intimacy. Recent exhibitions include If I have a body at Remai Modern. Beckly holds an MFA from the University of Guelph and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Toronto. He is represented by Daniel Faria Gallery in Toronto.
Alex Bent & The Emptiness
Alex Bent is a Canadian alt-pop/R&B singer and producer currently recording and performing as Alex Bent + the Emptiness. Bent has been featured by media outlets such as Earmilk, Exclaim! and Hip Hop Canada and recently featured at Canadian Music Week and NXNE. His new album, Baby, is available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and all music platforms.
Aurora Wolfe is a Nehiyaw and Scottish songwriter and storyteller based out of Saskatoon. She combines simple melodies and honest lyrics to paint a picture of life on the prairies, from harsh realities to lighthearted tales. The addition of her full band Dump Babes maintains the folk roots of her music while adding dynamics and grit.
A singer-songwriter influenced by Amy Winehouse, Patsy Cline and Lana Del Rey, Toria Summerfield’s 2018 album, Planet X merges confessional lyrics and melancholic themes with a lo-fi, alternative R&B sound.
Raeburn is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer, and producer, Maxwell Raeburn Warner. His jazzy of indie rock sound inflected with a sentimental, breezy sadness. His live set features the acclaimed rhythm-section duo of Brynn Krysa and Billy Tataryn.
