Remai Modern joins the Cultural Access Pass program

Saskatoon, Canada – Remai Modern is proud to be the latest Cultural Access Pass destination for new Canadians. The program, created by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship (ICC), gives new Canadian citizens complimentary access to more than 1,400 destinations across the country.

"Taking part in the Cultural Access Pass program is a great way for the museum to build on its mandate of connecting art with local and global communities," said Gregory Burke, Remai Modern's Executive Director and CEO. "At Remai Modern, we want to be a welcoming space and to reach as broad and diverse an audience as possible."

The Cultural Access Pass is valid for a full year after a person receives their citizenship certificate. The ICC has partnered with museums, galleries, science centres, national parks, marine conservation areas, historic sites and more through the program.

Remai Modern will host a citizenship ceremony on June 21, in partnership with the ICC, where 50 new Canadians will receive their citizenship.
