Farrukh Syeer

Viewpoints

Farrukh Syeer has worked in the domain of social development for 10 years now. His professional work has mostly involved communication for social change. He holds a double master’s in English literature, and Social Development & Sustainable Livelihoods. Community and institutional capacity building for social change has remained central to his professional work in non-profit sector both within Canada and overseas.


The promotion of intercultural intelligence, enhancement of cultural responsiveness, socio-economic inclusion geared towards social development constitute the core of his current professional role.

About the talk

The Viewpoints guest speaker series feature gallery talks led by community specialists. Talks support an exchange of ideas related to exhibition content and broader themes of art and culture. These talks take place on the first Tuesday of every month and are free with admission. No registration required, meet in front of the Cameco Play Area.
