Reimagining Canada Day

SaskTel Theatre

June 16, 12–1:30 PM

On June 16, Remai Modern is pleased to host one of the events in Reimagining Canada Day, a free talk series organized by Reconciliation Saskatoon that addresses the complex relationship many people have with Canada Day.

Featuring spoken word artist Tala Tootoosis, Knowledge Keeper Lyndon Linklater, Métis educator John Lagimodiere, youth/community organizer Allison Forsberg, newcomer/author Michael Afenfia, spoken word artist Ahmad Majid and more. Schedule to follow.

This free event will take place in the SaskTel Theatre at the museum, and will also be livestreamed. Please arrive early to guarantee your seat in the SaskTel Theatre, as seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. A short reception will follow the event.
