Haegue Yang

Artist in Conversation

Haegue Yang splits her time between Berlin and Seoul, which is reflected in the transitory nature of the artist’s practice. Known for using utilitarian household items and placing them out of context, Yang has employed materials from space heaters to extension cords in her works. Her piece, Four Times Sol LeWitt Upside Down — Version Point to Point, 2016-2017 is on view at the Remai Modern, as part of Field Guide. This talk will take place in the Sasktel Theatre.
