Turn Out presents a performance by Robin Rimbaud, an electronic musician who works under the name Scanner. Since 1991, the UK-based artist has been deeply engaged in sonic art, producing concerts, installations and critically acclaimed recordings. He has collaborated with leading composers, choreographers, designers and visual artists including Wayne MacGregor, Mike Kelley, Torres, Michael Nyman, Steve McQueen, Laurie Anderson and Hussein Chalayan. At Remai Modern, Rimbaud will perform a live score for two short films by influential French filmmaker, Alain Resnais: Toute la mémoire du monde (1956) and Le chant du Styrène (1959).
