Acoustic in the Atrium

Join us in the museum’s Atrium on Friday evenings in December to hear from local acoustic musicians. Each artist will perform three sets throughout the course of the evening. The Atrium and Connect Gallery are always free and there will be a cash bar available.

Performance by Michael Gamble 

Singer/songwriter Michael Gamble is a versatile musician known for his heartfelt interpretations of classic country, rock and blues. Originally from Beardy’s Okemasis First Nation, he has toured extensively, playing everything from guitar to vocals, mandolin, drum and piano. His performance will include a mix of covers and original music.  


Friday, December 10, 5-8 PM 
Performance by Raven Reid 

Raven Reid is a singer/songwriter, musician, DJ, public speaker, poet, artist and budding author. She is originally from Mikisew Cree First Nation in Northern Alberta and currently resides in Saskatoon.  Raven’s original music comes from her life experience and often reflects raw emotion including from her experience growing up in the ‘60’s scoop, away from her biological family. Her music falls into the folk, singer/songwriter genre. She has released an EP and is currently working on a brand new single, A Johnny Cash Night.

Performance by Jarrid Lee 

Jarrid Lee is an Indigenous Canadian Country Music artist, award-winning singer/songwriter and entrepreneur. Growing up in a musical family led him to develop a sound that mixes heartfelt ‘90’s country with new and current country music. He has played extensively throughout Western Canada and has opened for many iconic Canadian and international musicians. His newest EP, It’s Time, was just released and is in regular rotation on CBC Radio and Sirius XM.
