Remai Modern is open Tuesdays and Fridays 10 AM-10 PM, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10 AM-5 PM, and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 10 AM-5 PM. Remai Modern is closed Mondays except for statutory holidays.
$12 for adults;
$10 for students, youths and 65+;
free for children 5 and younger; and
$30 for a family of two adults and up to five children.
For families attending the museum, we are offering a family admission of $30. This applies to two adults and up to five children.
Yes, you can purchase gift certificates for the museum or the Art & Design store in person during operating hours or online here.
Permission to photograph artwork is unique to each gallery and exhibition. Look for signage upon entering the gallery that indicates whether photographs are permitted.
Photographers are welcome at Remai Modern, but respecting the work and copyrights of artists in the museum is our highest priority. Here are the basic rules for photography in the building for non-personal use.
- Admission charges apply
- no lights, flash or backdrops
- no art in the pictures
- cannot be done in gallery spaces
- no incidental capture of other guests in the pictures
- cannot move furniture
- no props
No food or drink is allowed in the galleries. Food and drink is permitted in the common areas outside the galleries and in the entrance atrium.
Cell phones are allowed in Remai Modern but we request that visitors keep them silent while in the building.

Permission to take photos is event-dependent and will be indicated in the event listing.

Memberships make great gifts. Visit Guest Services to purchase a gift membership in person or call (306) 975-8498 for more information.
Memberships become effective immediately and expire after 365 days or two years from the date of purchase, as applicable. For example, if you purchase a membership on October 21, 2017, it will expire on October 21, 2018.
Members at the Enthusiast level and higher enjoy reciprocal benefits at select galleries and museums in North America through the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) program. For details, please visit https://narmassociation.org/.
Children between 13 and 18 will receive a membership card of their own if their name is listed on the application. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult when visiting, therefore they will not require a card.
Visit Guest Services onsite to request a replacement card. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (306) 975-8498 to request a replacement card. There is a $5 replacement fee for lost cards.
Membership cards are non-transferable. However, as a member you may bring a guest and receive 10% off their admission.
