Oliver Husain’s artist’s talk was presented on the opening of his work Isla Santa Maria 3D (2016) in the Level 2 Collection Gallery at Remai Modern. This immersive cinematic experience is the last of five selected works presented in series for Oliver Husain: Roving. The exhibition marks the first solo presentation of the artist’s work in the Prairies. Based in Toronto, Husain’s work has garnered international attention, with presentations and at Kunstverein Wolfsburg, Germany; ICA Philadelphia; Galeri Nasional, Jakarta, Indonesia; and Shenzhen Architectural Biennial, China.
