About the artists:
Amber Phelps Bondaroff (she/they) is an interdisciplinary artist, performer, musician, community organizer, yoga teacher, mother and settler living on Treaty 4 Territory (Regina) since 2012. She brings a trauma-informed and care-based methodology to her work and teaching across disciplines. Amber was Programming Director at Neutral Ground, Artist-Run Centre from 2017-2023 and is a co-founder and co-artistic director of Swamp Fest, an annual, community centered music and arts festival in Regina. Amber has sat on numerous boards, including Common Weal Community Arts, ARCA (Artist Run Centers Association) and is currently the chair of the Heritage Neighbourhood Association, a community she has called home since 2019. Amber received an MFA in Intermedia Arts from the University of Regina, in 2014 and a BFA in fine arts from NSCAD University, Halifax in 2007.
Alana Moore (she/they) is a queer, sober, and chronically ill artist and community organizer residing as a white settler on Treaty 6 Territory in Borden, Saskatchewan. Her work investigates vulnerability and how to create shared meaning with participatory projects using dialogue, process, printmaking, design, and often non-object based outcomes.
As an emerging artist, she has a growing body of group exhibitions, collaborations, experience in art education, arts administration, and curatorial projects. Her role as Artist-in-Residence at Sherbrooke Community Centre integrates art into the lives of residents, fostering connections that challenge societal perceptions of aging and illness. Moore was a mentor artist with FAM (Future Artistic Minds) from 2019-2025, and previously served on the board for Commonweal Community Arts. Currently, she organizes with the Saskatoon chapter of SURJ (Showing Up for Racial Justice). In 2012, Moore obtained her BFA from the University of Saskatchewan.
