Luke Maddaford, Our Lady of the Vapours
June 14, 2025
2 PM and 3:30 PM
Western Development Museum
Presented in Partnership with Spark Your Pride
Spark Your Pride is a joyful celebration of the lives of Saskatchewan’s older 2SLGBTQ+ people. This free fun-filled event takes place at Western Development Museum on June 14 and features history displays, workshops, films, and performances.
Developed with the support of the RBC Sustained Artist Mentorship Program at Remai Modern, Luke Maddaford presents Our Lady of the Vapours, a narrative performance exploring desire, placemaking and optimism, encouraging viewers to imagine Queer space with infinite possibility. Join Maddaford as he pays homage to Saskatoon’s Queer history through a journey set in a bathhouse that only exists in the collective imagination. Take home a piece of the performance in the form of an artist multiple keychain and short publication.
