Celebrate the opening of a new exhibition presented as part of the multi-year project Carried by rivers, held by lands:

Sikuvoq, sikuerpoq / When the ice holds, when it breaks.

Opening in Connect Gallery, this exhibition features collaborative works by Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory and Jamie Griffiths alongside works by Inuit artists from Remai Modern’s collection.

The opening program and reception will take place in the Remai Modern atrium.

The evening begins with welcoming remarks and protocol, followed by a conversation with Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory and Jamie Griffiths, moderated by Tarah Hogue, Adjunct Curator (Indigenous Art), Remai Modern.
