Special Screening: Blue Velvet
This special screening of Blue Velvet is presented in honour of the recent passing of director David Lynch. Lynch was a true visionary who on many occasions flipped independent and studio filmmaking on its head. Having directed various groundbreaking works such as “Eraserhead,” “Twin Peaks,” “Mulholland Drive,” and “Blue Velvet,” Lynch’s cinematic language has resonated with generations, and the often surrealist nature of his films spoke to many on a very human level.
