REMAI MODERN TO REOPEN AUGUST 13
After several months closed to the public to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, Remai Modern is thrilled to announce its reopening date. Public hours resume on August 13, with new health and safety measures in place to protect both guests and staff.
Starting August 6, Remai Modern members will be given early access to the museum as a small thank you for their support. From August 6-9, each membership can bring two non-member guests at 10% off the regular admission price.
The well-being of our guests and staff is our first priority. Some of the new guidelines visitors should be aware of include:
Tickets: Visitors are encouraged to purchase their admission tickets in advance to limit contact during their visit. Members enjoy unlimited admission and do not need to pre-register their visit. Admission will be first-come, first-served to ensure new capacity guidelines aren’t exceeded.
Hours: The museum’s operating hours will be adjusted to Thursday to Sunday from 10 AM-5 PM. Updates to this schedule will be posted on Remai Modern’s website as soon as they are available.
Increased sanitation: Frequency of cleaning has been increased throughout the building, particularly in high traffic areas. Additionally, hand sanitization stations have been added throughout the building.
Signage: New signs throughout the building will indicate maximum number of people in designated spaces, traffic flow and other important changes.
Masks: Visitors are encouraged to wear a face covering while at Remai Modern.
Distancing: Visitors are asked to practice physical distancing in all museum spaces. Please remain two metres away from all guests who aren’t part of your household. Please follow guidelines posted throughout Remai Modern.
All public spaces, including Remai Modern, carry a risk of exposure to the coronavirus (COVID-19). Help do your part in ensuring the health and safety of staff and other guests by following posted guidelines and maintaining physical distance. We also strongly encourage you to wear a face mask during your visit. By entering a public space like Remai Modern you voluntarily assume all risks related to potential exposure. If you feel unwell, please stay home.
Please keep checking this page for updates as they become available.
